A new travel agency in the metaverse which transforms traditional trip planning into an interactive, gamified experience. Users explore destinations randomly, collect cultural artifacts, and unlock new locations, fostering curiosity and engagement. This approach turns travel discovery into an immersive adventure rather than a passive selection process.
The project was developed through a structured design process, using Blender and Rhino for scene modeling, 360° Street View images for realistic environments, and Unity for seamless integration. Optimization techniques ensured smooth performance, while interactive features like teleportation, object collection, and dynamic backgrounds enhanced user engagement.
Users start at the agency, where they are randomly transported to a destination. They can move between locations via teleportation, collect cultural objects in a virtual suitcase, and access informational displays. Once explored, destinations become permanently accessible, allowing deeper immersion.
